About Warner Springs
Warner Springs is in San Diego County, in the San Diego metro
area. The community is in the Pacific Standard time zone. The
latitude of Warner Springs is 33.282N. The longitude is -116.632W.
Located at the foot of Palomar Mountain, Warner Springs is known
for its rustic, natural environment and fresh air. The community
was named or Jonathan Trumbull Warner, landowner. gave the community
its namesake after traveling from Connecticut to what was then
called Valle de San Jose in 1830. Warner then made the land into
a trading post and established what is now known as Warner Ranch.
The Ranch is a western style getaway with 240 cottages, golfing,
horseback riding, wagon rides, hiking, swimming, biking, tennis,
and mineral hot springs. Warner Springs has a population of a
little over 1,000 people.
