About Rancho Mirage
Rancho Mirage is a city located in Riverside County, California.
As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 13,249.
In between Cathedral City and Palm Desert, it is one of the eight
cities of the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs area).
Although the city was only incorporated in 1973, the Annenberg
Estate in the area had long been popular with the wealthy and
powerful. Several US presidents have vacationed here, and Gerald
Ford was a frequent visitor who later bought a house. The Betty
Ford Center is located in the Eisenhower Medical Center of the
town. Rancho Mirage is in the Coachella Valley Home of the Betty
Ford Center, long popular with celebrities trying to kick addictions.

of Education. The 2,000 teachers, counselors, administrators,
and employees of RCOE work hard to provide critical services needed
by Riverside Countys 23 school districts, special education,
and vocational education students.
We help districts meet tough state academic goals, train educators
