About Paiko Lagoon
Paiko Lagoon is an extinct volcano on the east
coast of Waikiki in Honolulu called a “tuff
cone” and is estimated to be 200,000 years
old. The volcano is a large tourist draw, as it
is a State Monument, and has a popular trail leading
from the interior of the crater outward. The area
is also neighborhood with many subdivisions.
