About Kawailoa
Kawailoa is a subdivision of Kailua. Kawailoa
Beach, on the other hand, is located on the North
shore of Oahu off Hwy 83. Kawailoa Beach got its
name from the rocky yet sandy coastline. The beach,
surrounded by elegant private homes, is more of
a surf spot than a swimming favorite because of
the small riptides between surf breaks. You can
often spot large sea turtles swimming close to
shore at this beach.
