About Kalama Valley

Kalama Valley was once home to pig farmers prior to 1970. In 1971, with much resistance from the farmers, the residents were evicted to make room for housing developments. Today, Kalama Valley residents enjoy the proximity Sandy Beach and Makapuu Beach, as well as various attractions in the Hawaii Kai Area.
