About La Habra
La Habra was named after George H. La Habra
who brought the railroad to that area. Orange and avocado orchards
would flourish soon after. In the early 1900's La Habra was a
bona fide western town, complete with saloons and brawls. Today,
La Habra is home to the Titans at Cal State La Habra, the 1995
National Champions in baseball. This city also has an international
airport, museums, an arboretum, Downtown shopping, as well as
numerous annual community events.
